Default Obama signs EO

As you may know, this morning President Barack Obama signed an Executive Order that calls for fair and ethical funding and oversight for embryonic stem cell research. In doing so President Obama has reversed previous federal legislation restricting embryonic stem cell research to a limited number of cell lines created before August 2001. MJFF CEO, Katie Hood attended the signing in person this morning and shared that there was both genuine excitement as well as recognition for the advocacy role that the Parkinson's community has played in the past 8 years.
