I wonder if Lidoderms would work for you?
I use them behind the knee when I have "knee pain". 1/2 patch is enough for this for me. I think the most dramatic pain though is at the tarsal and carpal ligaments. That is where I had my issues. T4 (levothyroxine) is converted by enzymes using zinc and selenium. So if you are low in those minerals, your conversion may be less than the norm. Much of the understanding of thyroid hormones, is being challenged these days with reports about reverse T3...I don't think all the data on this is in yet. But it points to failure of T4 to be converted to the proper isomer of T3. Excess cortisol is implicated in this failure so far.
