in moderation. Some studies show it has anti-bacterial qualities as well.
Really heavy use however, is fructose, and can be hard on the liver. But it is far better than that artificial stuff you have been using! A little honey goes a long way. And I use it in my tea...esp the yerba mate tea. But it is nice in other teas as well. I also have honey in my grits (when I have them). Sometimes when I want a dessert, and really can't have one, I have a little slurp of honey. It is very satisfying. I am sure he will work it off at the gym. ![]()
