Confused Are internal vibrations and shakiness sfn related?

I've already stated I haven't been diagnosed yet but i would like to know if internal vibrations/jitters/tremors are common with sfn? Also I've been shaky on the outside too.No stress, new meds,or existing meds.Does this sound familar to anyone?

Okay I just talked to someone and solved the shakiness probability. It's most likely due to my borderline low blood sugar and I haven't been eating right. These internal vibrations that i'm talking about is the kind I normally feel in my feet or lower legs, but lately it's been all over.I feel like I'm a vibrating bed on low.Does anyone else get this localized to one area or all over randomly?

I've had vibration feelings in the abdomen when I have some
GI irritation. Mostly on the left side. I don't get them often, but late at night in bed if I ate something I shouldn't have. The next day, sure enough, I am loose and/or crampy. Sometimes it precedes a GI bug type thing too. I don't have it often tho.

I know to stay away from hot spicy food (like chilis), MSG or cabbage and its relatives. I also have to avoid fructose and most sugars now. If I behave or am not coming down with something, I am okay. I know this feeling...the throbbing, trembling thing..and it is very disturbing.

I have a vibrating feeling constantly in my feet and legs, it is very annoying, when I try and have an afternoon nap I give up that's when it gets worse, the vibrating goes from my feet, legs to my head and face then my arms or hands, so I give up and get up.

Yes, I've had vibration-type feelings, both from low blood sugar, and when my neuropathy symptoms are flaring up. Feet, arms, hands, mid-line of my abdomen, face, head -- same place my other neuropathy symptoms are. My hands shake sometimes, even to where it's difficult to write or to get a letter opener in a letter--ok, it's only been that bad a couple times, but physical shakiness plenty of times.

But nothing bad has shown up on an MRI, and this is occasional and hasn't progressed over the last 2-3 years, so I guess that tends to rule out central nervous system causes. My neuropathy is entirely sensory so far (knock on wood), and so my doc's theory is that I could have some neuropathy in my proprioceptive nerves. (Proprioception is the sense of knowing where your body is without having to look at or touch it.) Makes sense to me. I hope yours resolves well.

My latest diagnosis is SFN and I've been told that the vibrating feeling, which I feel in my legs and feet is related. I also get deep muscle twiches which occur in my extremities and I'm told these are related as are deep muscle pain and cramps. As for shakiness, I don't get it. I've gotten all of this validated through my PCP.

Default I think I know what you mean....

I will get vibrations in my lower extremities that make me feel as tho my cell phone is in my pocket vibrating, when it isn't. The vibrations don't hurt, I just know they are there. Can you relate to that?

I only get them when my legs feel better have more feeling, i had them intially in the early day of this ( i still havent had diagnosis either )
but i had lot more of the burning then too , and terribly anxiety with it.

This was over 10yrs ago now - my god doesnt time fly when your having fun ( cough )

Any way Im too eager or diagnosis given my options of medications and their side effects ( call me stupid ) but i got this through meds in the first place and i have too many other problems inc weight I need to take care off.

kpRN, I can relate to that. Mine have a tendency to run on for awhile once they get cranked up. They used to just come on in short bursts but now they go on for longer periods of time. Mine also don't hurt but they are strong enough that I know they're there. I assume that they progress right along with the condition.

I totally relate to this one, mostly in my feet. This last week, my left heel has been doing this. Some times it's like a start, stop, start, stop, then other times, it just continually buzzes. If I could find the battery to that cell phone I would remove it!

Often times, it lasts a week or so, then disappears for a time, only to return. I figure it's much better than having constant pain, so it's very easy to deal with.
