Default Does anhidrosis get better?

Since working out in my field this year, I have noticed that I drip sweat, especially from my face....now I had global anhidrosis. I wonder if IVIG improved this at all. I think they should repeat the thermoregulatory sweat test on me. I can't imagine that this amount of sweat, (and it just isn't in my face, it is my entire trunk) would not be attributed to be some change in sudomotor status. Whatcha think?

(150lbs of tomatoes harvested today.....then the man eating insects chased me out, flailing and flapping from the buzzing and itching.)

I don't know whether or not anhidrosis gets better or not.

Seem to recall that you said that most of you turned almost completely orange (or was it purple - whatever color means not sweating or sweating enough) when you were tested. And now you drip sweat from face and trunk when outside in the heat. How about when doing a somewhat strenuous activity inside? Didn't somebody mention that Salagen made them perspire, or was that some other med.

Assuming you're aware that once perspiration shows/is felt, it's excess perspiration, maybe the anhidrosis is gone? Re-testing would tell you, if you want to do it again.

Maybe it is just that the heat indexes are so high, that I am sweating....it is weird. I mean sweat drips off my nose! It never did that!

Yes, I did not turn any color when baked....I came out totally orange, which is not good....not good at all.

Anyway, maybe they will retest me if I ask....I am curious. If I am sweating like I should, I would say that IVIG did it.

I don't know a thing about this condition, sorry. But you know how you read something wrong?

I got an image of a man gobbling up bugs while chasing you and knew that couldn't be right. Had to read it five times before I got it.

I certainly hope so Cyclelops... I suffer from it and my face gets bright red when I exercise. It takes me forever to cool down. I do sweat some, but not enough. And the weather has been so hot this summer!

At our last house, we used to have a large garden and we would can our tomatoes and pickle our peppers. I miss it so. We now have a wooded lot so there is not enough light for a garden unless we cut down trees.

LOL, Mere, my last house had a very wooded lot and I only had a small garden out front, and it never did much. This house has no trees....I planted some, but by the time they get big....well, let's just say one has to believe in the future.

Anyway, I MISS my trees!

After all that canning, all the burns, all the mess, I am pondering whether or not I can do this next year.....there comes a time when you have to put somethings away, and this is awfully labor intensive. I dunno.

That's great! It really is a lot of work, but just think of those yummy canned goods in the middle of winter

Joan, I missed a hyphen....man-eating.

Come Sept. when I have surgery, I will be do a very slow hunt and peck, so, who knows what will be read into what I type?!

It actually could have been a man eating bugs chasing me, but with all the bugs, he would have had little impact, unless he was good looking...then maybe, he may have had some redeeming quality.
