So got there early and suprisingly he took me back early. He went over my blood work, went over my other issues, poked and proded. One of his pokes about made me went my pants and poke him back
![]() He said I have bursitis and if PT dont help I will have to have shots ![]() Then he said that extra Vitamin D would be great....he wants me on 1000 UI But the worst part I have fibromyalgia.....I looked it up when I got home and it makes sense now but it sounds so aweful. I didnt do a super huge research on it yet but will in the next few days. My insurance only pays for 12 PT appts so I hope it helps....we will see. I have to call my primary and have them send over a new referal. They sent one over for tennis elbow which I dont have and dont want to waste my appts.

Hon, you have more going on than Fibromyalgia. Fibro doesn't cause multiple miscarriages and THAT kind of disturbed blood work.
See a hematologist.

I agree with Cyclelops.... you need another opinion!
Fibromyalgia is so often misdiagnosed, and that label can follow you around forever, blocking open minded evaluations/testing in the future!

IMHO 'fibro' is the new kid on the block, used instead of 'ideopathic' when they can't figure out what's really going on- or are too lazy or inept to find out. Better to have a dx of something, rather than tell the patient
"I don't know what it is" Since there is no chemical or blood test for it- it is all subjective, detective work- so there is no definitive way to diagnose for it. Can't have a lab report come back with 'fibro' on it. Its the new 'catch-all' dx.
