Hi folks,
Thanks so much for all the good thoughts and wishes. I'm still doing my three leg hobble but I decided I had to see if I could buy groceries while my husband is still up and around. So this morning I went to Walmart, parked in the handicapped area straight out front. Then I crutched in to the store. I used one of those motorized scooters with the basket and left my crutches with the greeter at the door. Scooted myself around and shopped. Some things were a challenge. Top shelf.. ![]() It was a problem because the marked isleway for handicapped access between the cars was all blocked by baskets. But I managed to push them all out of the way enough to get thru to my car. Unloaded my groceries and parked the scooter. Then crutched back to my car. Whew!! But it is doable. Just need a nap to recover. I do want to tell you tho..this moon boot is he** on feet with neuropathy. Billye |
