In bad pain....please help

The ice helped my knees alot....my back not so much but I was at least able to get some relief. I will call the dr and see what they suggest. I didnt sleep well but better than I have been sleeping. I still feel tired but not nearly as bad as I have been feeling.

Today they dont feel as bad as yesterday but we will see as the day goes by. So glad you mentioned doing the ice it helped me so much. Thank you

Ice is being used more and more for arthritis pain.

Just don't overdo it. A good response to ice, means that there is some inflammation going on possibly.

You might try Biofreeze for your knees, and back. This is also quite useful. I love Biofreeze.

Overuse of heat, may inflame nerves further, so if you use any heat on your back, don't do hot and not longer than 15-20 minutes or the nerves may get irritated.
