Call and ask if cancellation appointments are available?
Essentially a waiting list? But, set your own terms.. In my case I felt I needed 2 days to get myself and any key records together and copied so that was my limit? Ended up see the head of a well-known university neuro dept head! Got more than I'd asked for! And started on a whirlwind of tests and MRI's And X-rays and heaps of blood tests and GOT a diagnosis! Especially after my spinal fluid testing. In my case it turned out to be Auto-immune neuropathy. And treatments have made a difference between life or barely living.
The thing about cancellations is tho? They come up FAST and you will have to say either yes or no to any upcoming dates! Never wonder about who cancelled? Some chicken out, others well...you don't want to know? Just take advantage of the time and space and USE IT!
Don't go in expecting miracles? Just hope for a neuro who has 'curiousity'! That aspect can get your further than any other virtue for sure!
Hopeing for good luck and soon! - j
