Some things are not absorbed well.
Acetyl carnitine and CoQ-10 are examples. These are best spaced out. I have never seen the lipoic acid listed as poorly absorbed. This paper compares timed release with immediate release, and near the end gives results of successful high dose (once a day) treatment with lipoic acid. http://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&q=...MFI0NoGLb96bfQ So I would say you can take yours all at once, if it does not upset you. The paper does illustrate that timed release versions are inferior to immediate release types.
