The results of some studies while appearing favorable, are difficult to replicate, and depend on what form is used, and other criteria.

Aloe Vera is a laxative...so some people will not be able to tolerate this action IMO.

By consuming fruit...you are using fructose, which is metabolized differently by the liver. It provides a delayed response, so yes, the indicators of blood sugar and H1C will show fewer spikes. However, fructose itself is problematic in other ways....as that video I typically post explains. So it may be a short term fix, but not a long term health benefit...we'll have to see.
