it is going to present differently in each person. the signals are
arising in the ganglion and depending on your trigger the sensation will be felt differently. lidoderm patches over the ganglia responsible may deaden the signals. herpes zoster is one coomon cause of this type of pain. however, genetic inability to repair damage has been found in some patients... i've posted that before..new studies in fact. i cannot search for you right now but you can search this board. the link works for me. if you expect to find your specific symptoms you are not likely to find them.

yes, it takes you to the sign in page....in the upper left you will find a search box, type sensory gangliopathy (check my spelling, lol) and you will get some articles...good luck
