PN that comes after a pregnancy should be evaluated for
low thyroid. That is what happened to me. Also low essential fatty acids in the diet, will rob the mother, so the baby's brain can develop. If you do not eat EFAs in your diet (fatty fish like salmon, flaxoil etc) you might be low and when low you cannot repair your nervous system.
