![]() FWIW, IME it's usually the specialist that initiates a prescription, and from then on refills are handled by the PCP. Two reasons being that 1, specialist co-pays are higher, and 2, PCPs are typically the ones to manage everyone else to (theoretically) catch any duplications, interactions, etc. Other than that I pretty much agree w/ Jo*mar's assessment; these folks are working for you, and the PCP should have your back and go to bat for you when/where necessary (within his/her purview). Doc
