Hi guys,
I've had cmt type 1 for a few years now. It's been getting much worse in the last year, more numbness, more pain, can barely walk at all now. I also have eds type 2 (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome), really loose joints plus other complications. My question is, do you guys also find that the pain from any injury that you get, seems to stay forever? Sprains, broken bones, muscle or ligament damage, arthritis, surgery, etc... I still feel the pain in my right knee, a broken knee cap from falling of a ladder at work. This happened around the same time that the cmt symptoms started, six or seven years ago. Other knee was sprained so bad that it was the size of a basket ball, lots of other stuff as well, since then. I don't do much of anything anymore. |

Personally I don't have any pain that stays forever after an injury. But that's me. It is can be different for others who have CMT. There are so very many types of CMT as you probably know.
