This is a new article by one of my favorite online doctors. It confirms most everything we say here but has a few new insights.

It makes me realize, once again, how serious B12 is.

I wonder about my own MMA results, one thing, I did not stop taking B supplements before the test as at the time I did not know to stop. My MMA results were <0.08 which surprised me, it is not on the high end of the range at all.

I wonder if you can have a low MMA result and still be low in B12.....

Yes, when I didn't eat red meat, I certainly found out how important it was! Sadly when I got ill, reg. docs were clueless. Thank goodness I found a integrative MD and he tested me quickly! SO easy. I wish all doctors were integrative.

I feel sorry for older people with problems that are not tested and would certainly do well to have B12.

It is important. Thankfully, my doctors know.
