It was so bad last night that i began a search and found this site and this thread.

My cousin had it for no known reason, so badly she could not put her feet on the ground. I researched natural cures for her and found one listed on *edit*, called "Nerve Support Formula for Relief of Peripheral, Diabetic & Poly Neuropathy Nerve Pain", by WSN. We researched the ingredients, which are all natural, and she made her own tea and did gain great relief. I am considering buying it, if i can find the $$ (it's about $44/mo).

I am reducing my weight and monitoring my blood sugars and taking my meds with rarely a miss. I have lost over 40 pounds in the past year, and hope to continue with that. Ultimately i hope to go off the diabetic meds and reverse the effects which include peripheral neuropathy. Please, wish me well.
Well done! Amazing 40 pounds thats a lot of weight to lose. You most certainly have taken your life back by taking such a control of your health situation. I know you will have the tenacity and strength to get off the medication. You have proved that by slimming down. That must have been so hard at times - especially when you are in pain, you feel like giving up. Hey - you will soon be running a marathon by the sounds of it. I pray that your PN will soon be gone- lots of reversal stories on here which are sso encouraging. Keep going. Stay strong. Ive sent you a friend link so you can let me know how you get on. ((((((((Big hug))))))))). God bless x

Got my EMG test back that they did on 1 leg. No abnormalities. So no surgery and he cant fix my hands or feet. What a waste of time. Now I don't know what to do.

Default Hi Cindylou

I am so sorry you are in such pain. Other than a pain specialist, there is another branch of medicine I recommend, based solely on my own experience.
I too am a pain patient. Physiatrist, is a branch of medicine that is first, for pain. Then they go a step further, and try to treat the whole body on a cellular level. I have PN and it was greatly reduced by seeing this kind of specialist.

I also read about what MrsD said about Angeoedema. I too have had this, and what triggers it remains a mystery for me. In my case, it wasn't pain, but big red swollen patches on parts of my body. The worst was my lips, eyes, tongue, and face. The hospital said it was probably do to an alergic reaction. The swelling didn't feel good, but it wasn't like PN or RSD, or joint pain. It was treated with a number of IV's and it went away withing a few hours. Your doctor would know at once if you had this. No EMG is needed for this DX,

I hope you get some relief soon. Dealing with pain is awful and we all need support to get through it. Thats why I came to neruo talk too.

I am here any time to talk . ginnie
