Could it be allergies? After living where I'm at for a few years I developed them, after not having them my whole life. It gives me post nasal drip, which can lead to a sore throat.

I agree with Chaos. It sounds like allergies. I never had them until I moved out of the city. I don't have the runny nose etc. I get nasal congestion and the post nasal drip. If you think that is what is going ,on talk to your doctor or pharmacist to see if you can started an allergy med. I would suggest something with a decongestant to aid in stopping the post nasal drip. Although, they may make you tired that is why I only take them if my symptoms are severe.
