I think the older you get, the more difficult it is to balance blood sugar. There are some studies now, on type II diabetics and A1C levels, suggesting that older people should be cut some slack and allowed slightly higher blood sugars than younger patients.

You might try some ribose to increase energy.

Ribose is a 5 carbon sugar, which is used to make adenosine, which is then used in the mitochondria to make ATP (the energy cycle).

here is a thread with links about it on PN here:

Ribose is useful for people with fibromyalgia too. It can help with sleep in some people, since adenosine is the signaling compound to initiate the sleep cycle.

Keeping to under 10 g a day should not impact type II diabetics, but you should test your blood sugar just to be sure.
Free Style and other meters may test positive of other sugars in the blood. But One Touch uses another system and only tests for glucose.

I take D Ribose. I like Co Q10 for energy/mitochondria function also. I take both. Benfotiamine is also important for energy and so many things. There are a lot of foods and supplements that help.

Default extreme exhaustion

HI,mrsD,That's what i read also that if you try to keep your blood sugar done where normal people have theirs it does not work well,my 14day is 143 and 30day is 153 and that's off of a high about 225.
This one of the reasons i am backing off of my insulin intake a little to get it up
just a little,my morning test is around 80 to 100 which is probably too low for me. I think i just need to get the combination of supplements&vitamins.
Thanks for the info.
