Thank you but FL is horrible. When ever I am there for a period of time I swell so much I go up 2 shoe sizes and break out in sores. The humid weather and heat for 9 months is horrible and I am usually cold but it seems what ever the temp is I feel it more whether it be cold or hot.

Northern and central FL is horrible, the southern tip (Miami, etc) has the tropical weather that is NOT as humid and more consistent. Just sayin'

I lived in South Fl for 3 years in Boca. Everyone is different but for me I swell so much and pain increase plus sores. Then I left for 2 years and within a few weeks it went down. I went back to visit FL and within a week the same swell and sores happened so it was not a fluke but everyone responds different
I have no idea because I make one choice to move to NC and then I think well maybe I should try MI for 6 months and see. So much worry and pain conditions just impact every level of life
Thanks again

If you struggle financially I'm not sure I would consider New York. It is really expensive to live there. You mentioned you have family you depend on financially, do they all live in MI? Possibly you could go where they are if not.
I'm in PA. We do get cold weather but oddly enough our winters have not been so bad. I also am a person who suffers in the cold. Also in extreme heat. I often say maybe I should move but my whole family is here.
Good Luck with whatever decision you make.
