Default Anyone had this kind of neuropathy???

I'm in my early 30s.

A month ago I was blow drying my body ( haha first time applying self tanner! ) and when I got to my legs I noticed that they felt muted. Like some part of the sensation of the air and heat were not getting to them. It felt like I had something on top of my legs. But I could still FEEL the blow dryer....just less. Something about the sensation was not entirely getting to me.

BUT. I can feel touch, temp etc.

So I went to my GP. He did a very quick test in the office with touch, vibration etc. he thought all was fine.

So I went to a neurologist in my area. She did the same tests but also ran an emg and nvc today on me, I won't find out the results until next week but the technician said it looked fine. Routine office tests though seemed fine.

Then a week ago one day my right leg was FINE (I have been running the blow dryer in them a few times a week to check). I compared it with the left- yup still felt partially numb. This is when I knew I was not imagining this slight numbness. The right leg was back to feeling NORMAL.

The next day, and since, they are both partially numb again to the blow dryer.

My questions:

Anyone ever been able to feel touch, vibration etc but only a certain kind of touch feels numbed?? I think it's he heat that is perhaps being muted and the air sensation for me.

Anyone ever had it come and go like mine did??

Thanks!!
