Good luck with your MRI, I am in the UK too and agree your waiting time is super fast for the NHS. Hopefully they will find out soon what is going on.

Got an appointment now for 18th October so am very pleased it is so soon. He did say to go to A and E (ER) if anything got worse and they would do it sooner but touch wood everything will be ok to wait til 18th and if they have a cancellation I may get in sooner, will update later.

I'm new to this forum and have a question. How do I start a thread asking this question? "I have just been diagnosed with Axonal neuropathy and have an appointment at the Mayo Clinic the end of this month. Does any one out there have this diagnosis?"

On the forum page, http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum20.html, there's a button that says NEW THREAD on the lefthand side, just above the Sticky threads. You'll need a new thread title—something like, Axonal Neuropathy and put your post in the window below, just like you did posting the above.
