Thought I would update, I am wanting to get more ideas or input on the supplements I am taking. I have made improvements but still have lots of room for improvement.

The burning rash I get nightly has been less noticeable and it has become painless (yeah!), I have been sleeping better than before (still not all the great but do get good nights occasionally) which makes a big difference in how I feel. I have felt since sept. that my body wasn't getting or making seratonin or something, that I just wasn't happy cause I wasn't getting the feel good chemicals, I have been doing better there but it feels really artificial. Hard to explain but its not that great.

My stomach has been doing better. I stay away from gluten and anything supplemented with B6. I still get some spasms and pulsations in my stomach after I eat. Also anything with sugar or chocolate or caffeine makes my stomach mad and my pulse rises, makes me go into a tachycardia type rhythm. I try and stay with easy to digest gluten free foods, fresh vegetables, various fruits and chicken/eggs. I drink only water, green tea (tea bag) and occaisonl juice with no added sugar (cherry/pomegrante).Also had to be on some antibiotics (zpak) for a 2 month (and going) bronchitis. My stomach felt really good while on them. No more pain while eating, no more spasms and weird sensations in my stomach which makes me think its some unknown bacteria causing it (been tested for h.pylori and came back negative). I had to get off them early though cause they were making my heart freak out, more tachycardia and weird beats.

My nerves still been going crazy especially in my feet and legs, All different sensations. Every sensation I have read about here I have experienced, its different every single day. I haven't had any muscle spasms for a week though since I was on the anitbiotic. I thinnk the supplements I am taking are helping. I keep telling my doctors that my nerves are affected by the way my stomach feels and what I eat. If I ate something spicy than my feet are on fire. They keep telling me they are not connected. If my nerves are bugging me than I can eat something and it will change. If my stomach is bothering me than so are my nerves. Its connected somehow. I have to stay away from anything that makes me anxious. Watching movies or any sporting events (even though I don't are too much about sports) releases something inside me that makes me really jittery and my stomach freak out. I had a really hard time watching my boys basketball games. I just had to sit there and shake like I was on meth or something. If I take a pepcid or some ant acid it usually makes things calm down for a bit.

Currently wearing a holter monitor to try and catch up on weird heart sensations and low blood pressure. Its been working great though since I put it on so I don't know if it wil show anything.

These are the supplements I am on. I know its kid of pointless not having the mg, I will update when I get them
Fish oil 2 times a day
Primrose oil once a day
flax seed oil once a day
magnesium I take 4 pills
vitamin E 1 a day
Vitamin D 3k a day
R lipoic acid 100 mg
Benfotiamine 150 mg
probitocs twice a day
Kefir couple of swallows once a day
Taurine once a day
pepzin gl once a day
Glut, licorice, aloe drink mix- when needed can't justify the cost
B12- methyl... and cynm.. each once a day

drugs
Pepcid- 20 mg once a day

I only use the Glut, licorice, aloe drink mix (suppose to be for stomach) when my feet are stinging really bad. I will drink it and within a minute my nerves and stomach are completely calmed down.

I just started the pepzin so not sure how well it does yet.

Benfo- I don't seem to think it does anything for me, i went off it for a bit when finding out how high my b1 level was.

When I don't take the r lipoic i can tell, nerves are worse that day for sure. I tried acteyl l carnitine and didn't notice any difference.

Omega3's- I think this is definitely helping my stomach.

I am religious about the magnesium since if I don't take it my whole body is cramping up and spasming.

Supplements I am planning on trying-
B5- mixed with the r lipoic i thought i would try it.
copper - Low on copper
ester c- I try take a chewable c but it kills my stomach, read ester can be easier on the stomach.

So I am wanting to accomplish a better immune system. I try and eat the vegetables and fruits that boost the immune system. I have had bronchitis and a head cold since dec. 20 that I can't shake and its not bacterial cause the anitbiotics I was on didn't even phase it.
So what can I add to my list of supplements to boost my immune system?

Hi Lewie,

FWIW, I've been taking ester c for several years now—ever since I got IBS, and it's been much easier on my stomach than ascorbic acid.

You might look into N-acetyl cysteine (NAC).
