If you are going to try it, I would suggest the oil instead of pills. More per tablespoon.

I I take 2 full tablespoons a day of the liquid Carlsons fish oil, which is more the the 2 teaspoons it says to take. I don't feel comfortable taking more than that, but if you do, let us know how it does for you.

I'm a little afraid to try to be honest. I have started on Enbrel is the last two weeks and I don't know if I should try anything else.
I think what I'm going to do at my next apt is ask my doctor if it is ok to do.
Then I will let you all know

You can start eating salmon. We have to have a certain amount of Omega-3's daily to maintain health. If you do not consume any, you are deteriorating. Omega-3's are ESSENTIAL, like Vit C is. We die without them.

Your question should be about amounts in excess of what is needed in the diet already.

Larger than dietary amounts are given by doctors for lowering triglycerides. Lovaza is the name of that product.

Hi Mrs. D, I just had salmon last night. I eat it at least once a week. I also take 1 krill oil tablet a day. I like that better than the fish oil. I don't have any burping etc. with the krill oil.

Okay that is okay then. Taking more you should ask about.

I take 2 krills myself. When these are gone, I am going to start the newer larger dose Mega Red. (Costco just started carrying it).

This is a review from a guy who does tons of reviews on supplements at amazon, it's full of a lot of info on krill oil.

Most people can get by with 3 fish oil a day. Less if you eat salmon frequently. I use Krill oil now, at 2 a day.

But when I started a decade ago I took only one flax oil, one fish oil and one evening primrose regular strength. This is very moderate but even at these low doses, we all saw huge benefits here.

I wouldn't go above 5 fish oil a day without a doctor's supervision.
