They have used high dose ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) in many trials concerning CMT. Ascorbic Acid is synthetic Vitamin C. Another site concerning it:

It occurs naturally in high concentrations in some fruits and vegetables.

I do not use any supplements; my choice.
