Is the area under the ear and right behind the jaw swollen and tender? Just clenching your jaw at night can make a lot of pain. I went to an ear specialist and he was wonderful! He gave me the phone number of a massage therapist that does gentle massage for both sides. It was wonderful and now I don't need it. I know what it is now if it happens and I can massage it and put a little heat from a rice filled sock and they are great.

There are also glands under the jaw area. Have you been sick with anything that may have caused swollen glands. Also, there are times that I get jaw and teeth pain when I'm having sinus issues.

Is it getting any less painful Stacey? Should start to feel somewhat better by now, otherwise time to have it looked at.

Yes it is!! Thank you all!

I have no idea what it was or what caused it, I took advil for two days and iced it, now it is all better.
