These are the supplements I am trying, but most say to take with or without food. Which ones do most of you think work better on an empty stomach?
D-3 (my level was 38, so in a normal range) 2,000 IU Benfotiamine 150-300 R-Lipoic Acid 100 mg CoQ10 Krill Oil Mega Red Nutrametrix multivitamin I still hesitate to use B12 since my level was just under 2000. I had a full blood panel done and both doctors I saw said not to worry about it, but taking more seems unnecessary. I asked for a test to see if I am not absorbing it properly, but they acted like I was insane. Anyway, I am going to start with these and would appreciate any input. |

B12 is the most critical to use on an empty stomach.
Some studies show lipoic acid also is less absorbed with food. This may not be a factor if you use the new solubilized form NaRALA (called stabilized, which is much more absorbed quickly). Benfotiamine has studies showing food does not matter. And your CoQ-10 if in an oil capsule would be best with food. If the new type like Qunol, this is less critical because that has been improved with solubility issues. Vit D is easily absorbed with or without food.
