That being said, Yellow Borneo is probably my very favorite so far. It takes my burning away and gives me a nice clean focused kind of energy. I like to have both and to find them in one strain for me is awesome.

I've experimented with different greens, which are supposed to have the qualities of both Reds and Whites. I don't have a favorite yet. I have not experimented with any whites alone yet as I don't want to get too hyped up. I do have a blend called "energy blend" that has a white strain in it. I mix 1/8t energy blend with 1/4t relief blend and I do get a lot accomplished without feeling out of control, high or bad in any way.

The crazy thing about Kratom is if you take a small amount (I take about 1/4t-1/2t, never more that 1 t) you feel energized. If you take larger quantities it's sedating.

There are red strains that are especially good for nighttime and insomnia and by using them I've been able to cut back on my sleep meds. I'm going to try to wean off them after the opioids.

If you have any questions you know I'll be happy to answer them.

Are you still taking Kratom...still the same blends.. Not the capsules. I bought some a couple yrs ago but threw it away due to the fear from the pharma world. I'd like to try again for pain.

Any issues with elevating blood pressure or constipation. Thanks...C

Yes Caroline I am still using Kratom. I use mostly green strains now which helps me with energy, mood and pain. I use certain reds in late afternoon or evening. My blood pressure is not elevated and I am not constipated. Some people do get constipated supposedly by taking reds. I also drink a lot of water which I always have. I had a complete blood work up done recently and my cholesterol was lower then usual and everything else was good. I’m sorry I hadn’t seen your PM. My granddaughter, son and dil were visiting for February and I’ve been very busy.
