They describe them as braces on the prescription, possibly with AFO's but primarily to keep me from rolling in on my arches, and with a Morton's extension to keep this toe from ulcerating. They will come part way up my leg, past the shoe but not much above the ankle. Sort of an orthotic/brace hybrid?
I haven't gone for the fitting yet, this is all I have been told so far. I drag my right foot more than my left so they will probably be different from each other. The prosthetic people will make the final determination.

I went to the ER once for pain and was treated like a junkie. They kept me waiting, while I was crying, for 3 hours. I brought a bottle of my percocet and some nitwit doing intake said we can't give you anything stronger. I was given a shot that helped for a couple hours and a script for four I think 2mg diaulada (allergic to morphine ) on my chart they wrote treated for mild pain. The top reasons pill seekers use to obtain narcotics are tooth and back pain or migraines.
