I've heard Kiefer is high in B12 and the homemade stuff has lots of healthy yeast and bacteria that are good for the gut in general. I used to make it, but stopped while nursing my son with a dairy allergy. I'm thinking about ordering some and giving it a try. It would be almost a free B12 source, but I wanted to get your thoughts on it. I ordered the methyl-B12 so I'm eager to see if that helps (currently taking the cyano form for 1 month with no change).

it probably is a natural source of b12, since only bacteria can produce in this manner, but its probably not as concentrated as the "pill" forms.
