MSG/ Monosodium Glutamate ?

MrsD,

I know you've mentioned this before, and I searched on "MSG," but I can't seem to get the search function to return results for me.

I've never had a problem before, but I just went out to dinner with a friend for Chinese, and I'm really flaring. I was having a pretty good day until now.

Do you have a thread or discussion dedicated to this?

I think the keyword for search needs to be longer than 4 letters but don't quote me on that.

I just used the Forum Search Feature

I'm sorry I can't transfer over the full search results but that won't work.

You can either search in PN forum or all forums...
You can even type in mrsD user name and find her posts on the subject

lots of info there.

Thanks, Lara! The number of letters may be exactly the problem. The search wasn't working for me a few days ago, and then it was, and then it wasn't again. I think first search was on "D3," so that would explain no hits too.

And that thread you provided the link to was exactly the one I remember stumbling upon at some point.

I guess a lot of asian restaurants still use MSG, the ones I frequent here, not often, in So. Cal. do not use it. Bad Stuff.... If they don't have a sign up that they don't use it, ask them NOT to add to your food. I guess in china it's a mainstay!!!
