neuropathy, but can't with absolute certainty be diagnosed as such and, therefore, stays diagnosed as "idiopathic", why a prednisone trial? Particularly if the inflammatory blood tests (c-reactive protein, sed rate, etc.) have been normal. I do have a HIGH POSITIVE ANA reading, psoriasis, and small fiber neuropathy. That much has been proven with blood tests and biopsies.
I guess what I'm asking is why prednisone and why not IVIG instead??? |
