Taurine has membrane stabilizing properties and may help your twitching and pain. For you I'd suspect you would need at least 2 grams a day in divided doses. There is a warning about using lithium with it, but otherwise it is fairly a benign supplement. Taurine is not expensive either.

Yep, start at 500mg a day and increase by 500mg every few days until you reach 2000mg.
Take on an empty stomach, and be watchful, since you have so many things going on.
