It is possible this supplement could help you considerably.
Please read all of the link including the Wiki article.

Taurine has membrane stabilizing properties and may help your
twitching and pain. For you I'd suspect you would need at least
2 grams a day in divided doses. There is a warning about using lithium with it, but otherwise it is fairly a benign supplement.

Taurine is not expensive either.
