Are you used to working with your hands or feet or both? Is it cold where you live?

I work in an office on the computer.
I live in Wisconsin.

So do I. :D

Let me ask you. Do you drink tap water? Do you sit a lot?

Hi fellow Wisconsinite!

I drink only water -- my whole life with ocassional milk as a kid. Only bottled water Evian or Fiji. At home, it's filtered with added PH balancing drops.
I sit more than I used to....

Do you have an inkling??

Wiix 07-28-2015 07:45 PM

What's with the ph drops?

It might be something you're ingesting.

I'm acidic -- most people are.
I'm trying to get my body alkaline. It's tough to do. I eat mostly alkaline foods and still test acidic. That's the only "chemical" thing wrong with me.

I tried that years ago, doesn't work. You are what you are.

Seems like quite a few Wisconsinites on this forum. Makes me wonder.........

Wiix 07-29-2015 12:16 AM

Wonder what? The water?

Hi Eskiemom

With respect, the idea of eating "alkaline foods" is a myth though it is popular in the comp/alt med community.

There is well-established physiology (the CO2/HCO3 equilibrium, catalysed by carbonic anhydrase) which keeps body pH within narrow limits (pH 7.4 or so).

What you eat will not change this - there is nothing "chemical" wrong with you :).
