Best of luck with your back treatment Phil. Back problems are quite unpredictable - but at least you have some viable treatment options. Hopefully you have a great result with the injections.

Hi Phil

Well done on getting an accurate diagnosis - and in a relatively short time. With everything I've read here from others, and my own experience, I've wondered about the accuracy of the nerve conduction tests to diagnose PN.

Hope the treatment works and you get some relief soon. Don't forget to come back and tell us what they did and how you get on.

Its possible that some conditions can cause PN-LIKE symptoms. like bulging discs and spinal problems. i suspect that may be behind some of my neuropathy as well, unfortunately i already run through the guantlet of specialists, neuro include and the last 2 dint do anything to help.

Very true Neuroproblem, so many similar symptoms it must be so hard to make the right diagnoses every time.
