I hit my 4th toe about 8 months ago. That toe often would be the one I knocked when it ran into corners, furniture, etc. It still feels swollen some days. Thinking back over the years it would sometimes seem to swell for no apparent reason. Maybe it was an indication of the beginning of my problems, but I'm getting of track.
Over 2 months ago I started having pain in my shoulder/bicep area. It is still there. I have never had problems with my shoulder before. I had been trying to get back into exercise but with very light weights. I am knowledgeable on form and was extremely careful. Now, my right knee is starting to feel funky. I am worried.

Hi Pinkynose,
I have SFN all over my body, head to toe. All I can say is that my wounds are not healing as fast as they used to. So it sometimes takes weeks for a small wound to heal, and no, I don't have diabetes. I also have various old injuries, like shoulder and knee from weight training and they're still around, sometimes they act up and sometimes not. I can say that the vitamin D3 I've been taking seems to help with the aches and pains. And I also follow proper form in the gym, if that helps. I do hope you feel better soon. Quote:

That is genius Ken! I've been doing that also to read. Thanks! Now I just need to figure out my other body parts problem. Perhaps Mortons Epsom lotion would help with blood flow...

Pinky, only 1 shoulder?
R or L , & R /L handed? Could it be mouse/computer use related. If foot /toe have hurt enough to make you walk favoring it for very long times, it could be a misalignment after a certain amount of time.. PT or chiropractic might help if that is the case.

L shoulder R handed. I think Ken in Texas solved that mystery. It's only the toe. It just doesn't feel heeled and swells slightly. I do see a chiropractor. I'm concerned it doesn't seem to heal.

I would never make fun of you. I was quite serious. My shoulder never bothered me when I perched my head upon to read. Been doing it for years even though a massage therapist told me not to. Btw there are countries where the word genius is used in place of good idea
