There are MD's who will give patients theraputic doses of desiccated thyroid. I can call this dosing is what my osteopath did for me back in 2002....no labs at all. I was told my numbers were normal for 10 yrs. I also had Hashi, maybe still do.

10 yrs of depression lifted in 4 days on 30mg of Armour. To start, it may have been 15mg, it was a long while ago 2002. Over the years I'm taking 135mg now.

The OLD time doctors never had labs in their days...so their patients were not numbers, but symptoms and there are over 66 symptoms of hypoT...

My endo was like, "look, if you really wanna try a light dose of levoxy...whatever I can do it. The thing is then we have to worry about bone density and liver damage and i dont see why we would do that whn all of your numbers are normal and they're not even on the edges they are right dead in the middle." She said maybe in year lets revisit it unless you are dead set on it. My take is it is big pharma (zocor and/or Prevacid) that probably did this to me so i am gonna hold off on going on another dependent medication and try supplementation for a bit.
