Wisest Elder Ever

Yes, I do think there are many food triggers too... at least that is true for me. MSG is a big trigger for me. It usually will increase or start burning within a short time for me esp at night.
Hot sauces made from peppers (nightshade veggies) can also cause burning. And of course, histamine containing foods or releasers. Histamine reactions and PN: Hubby likes a vegetable dish he found at Trader Joe's... an Asian fried rice with veggies... last night that provoked a burning event for me, which I had to take Benadryl for. I avoid everyday Benadryl because it really dries me out...but it worked within 20 minutes for me. So keeping a food journal may reveal triggers for pins, needles and burning.

The two things that have caused debilitating cramping were beer and pretzels. That's pretty sad coming from someone who is half-German. ![]() |
