I'm sure there are others that have had bad reactions, but I can't imagine this is the normal response from most patients.

Do they think the contrast got into your tissues from the pierced vein...and therefore taking a long time to get it out of your tissues vs blood stream?

I was totally healthy and never had any other diseases. Right now I get kidney and liver function tests weekly due to IV antibiotics and they appear to be very healthy.
Having high levels of gadolinium seems very common. My functional medicine clinic sees high gadolinium levels in people who have had MRIs all the time. They didn't even balk at results. They were more concerned that Cesium showed up on my test, which is something they don't see as much.
I've had about 7 or so MRIs in my lifetime, but the only times I remember being injected with contrast were for a brain scan that I had in 2005, then also for the brain/spine scan in 2014.
