If it were me, I would get a second more qualified opinion. Unfortunately it does not appear that the doctor you consulted really helped you. But I understand why you stopped it, but I hope you did not stop it abruptly.

Can you contact your neuro, even if it's just a conversation over the phone? I mean at some point neuro patients with illnesses like MS and the like get pregnant. I would suspect that they speak to their neurologists regarding meds.
