Well, I was in NYC last night (for the Neuropathy Support Group meeting), As we were riding to the meeting we were passing all the sidewalk hucksters. Oh my goodness, it seemed like there was 50 tables on every block. And the business they were doing. They were selling pocketbooks, and watches (lots of watches) and fanny packs, and perfumes, and books, AND LOTS AND LOTS OF STUFF.

I don't know if they have a permit to do this, but last night it was 71 degrees in NYC, AND EVERYONE WAS OUT THERE SELLING STUFF.

It was like NYC turned into a big flea market.

the first thing to know about NYC is that no one above the age of 21 that lives in Manhattan was born in NYC. They all came from somewhere else. (this also now applies to park slope brooklyn,brooklyn heights and south brooklyn )
If you want to meet real New Yawkers ya gotta go to the outta boroughs.
