Interesting about the cytoxan...i know it's had 'some' succes with some CIDP cases...Interesting again, all of the overlap? So much room for misdiagnosis in every other direction than the correct ones...
Loved the 'intro'? Especially the part about 'rat research'! A person after my heart! I've added it to my'research' list already...seems as if there's lots there to read and put into perspective.... Pain free moments to you especially and to ALL! - j ![]() ![]() |

Should I say HUH? or HA!! - best to leave it at that...we are all tryng to 'overachieve' doing things we probably don't need to do...but LIKE to do...there is a difference..Doing things we LIKE to do, even tho it is taxing is also HAPPY...Soo, just so we don't overDO the happy part, those 'little bits' part of my philosophies can kick in? The candy canes..the smell of balsam the candles and just having friends around...Like all of YOU!
Wish I could have you all around me, warm and comfy, with a cuppa cider..spiced according to tastes and all eating cookies I didn't make and...well, just enjoying ourselves...Laughing and sharing and saying stupid stuffs....we all of us, old members or new? Have been thru more than we care to remember...sharing fun things and forgetting the awful is important to help us get thur this holiday and it's social demands and also get us to the NEW YEAR! I truly have to HOPE and then HOPE more that this next year is gonna surpise us all somehow...well, I can wish upon a lot of stars! - j PS Sue? I know you will ask me in the future to 'find it'? Hee? or something... |

Billye do your hands feel infamed, sometimes hard to close? All the tips of my fingers are numb, which make's it hard to pick up almost anything..But the
kuckles do not look like there sticking out, like Bob's do,his hands are bentand look painful, but he has no pain..We both have a hard time writing, his is a bit better then mine..If these sounds familar what does your Rhumy do for it..They want to do more nerve tests to see if this could be Corporal Tunnel,as well as PN.. Thanks and hugs Sue |

Sue, you were asking about hands, so hope you all do not mind if I put my two cents in.
I have a hard time writing. Sometimes I don't even recognize my own handwriting... ![]() Nails had white lines across them for a while and going into the cold aisle in the grocery store caused much pain in the fingers-then the nail beds would turn colors, mostly red... Nails are just plain wierd... Sometimes no growth at all, sometimes they grow like crazy, but most of the time, the little fingernails don't grow at all... When I write, it is like the muscles in my hands fatigue before I finish what I am writing, and it looks nearly illegible... !@#**#% Prednisone helps some... This stuff is all crazy... ![]() Cathie |

yes Cathie that's exactly what i'm talking about, except I forgot to
going into the cold aisles the odd colors from the cold, but i do have R.Syndrome..The writing is alike,it looks like the Drs. I use to work for but worse. I even had a lady when i signed a credit card machine or what ever ,it's called tell it was ok to sign a x.. ![]() My nails like yours never grow or grow like crazy, and the swelling is the same..But I can't take pertisone HELP!! Maybe Mrs.D could help us, I really appreciate you reponding..A friend of my son said she went on some sort of diet that helped, but it was 2 noisy to hear, but she promised to e-mail it..I will pass it on when she does. Many hugs, Sue |
