Default I made it thru my bladder surgery!

I had my surgery yesterday morning. I talked to the anestheiologist ahead of time and told him about the problems I have with anesthesia so he made sure I was OUT! I told him I didn't want to wake up mid surgery in pain! I also asked ahead of time for him to put the IV in.......I didn't want to get poked several times this time! My veins are getting bad enough from all the IVIG's.
My pain was bad last night.....including my PN pain......it always gets worse when ever I have other pain going on. Tonight the bladder pain isn't as bad. I'm trying not to take any extra pain meds because that just causes additional problems.........UGH!! Anyway, I'm glad it's over with and I hope it works this this time around!

Default Good for you Roxie!

Good to hear you up and posting!
Surprised about the anathesia wearing off as it did tho...I was truly out and while I HURT at my surgery sites, I'd forgotten all about the PN right afterwards...I wish I knew what they gave me! I'd share it with you and everyone, for sure. NOthing like waking up from surgery and not hurting or, not caring, Huh? - j

Hey Roxie.

You and your poor bladder.
Here's a hug.

Take care, Mel

P.S. Be glad you didn't see the movie AWAKE.
Alan saw it and I told him he was nuts to do so. He said "nah, that can't happen to me". I won't watch that film.

Hi J!
During the cholonoscopy and endoscopy I could feel what was going on and hear people talking...it was dreadful! I thought "I should be on Oprah after this!" I'd been given Fentanyl versed anesthesia both times and said I'd NEVER have that again!
