But we've got rental ins 80/20. Sally & Mrs D... - no doubt stress played a big factor after I went out in that mess, but I knew it was coming at least a 1/2 day before it hit....without the weatherman. Glenn - I'm wit'cha all the way !! All of your thoughts on this subject are definitely within my way of thinking about it, too. I am feeling better today..... thanks

A bad day at the beach is far better than any day at home.
Well, That wasn't one of them was it? Two of the five times we've gone to the beach it was STORMS - big-time storms. And not the 'anticipated' kind. You go and have fun as best you can. Watching those waves and wind show their power is ever inspiring to me. It lets me know there are forces greater than mankind's in action that can do their will without plan, malice or forethought. It just happens. Somehow it keeps me humble. The dolphins/porpoises/whales were amazing to watch for sure in all that turmoil though. Hope the 'car doctor' can do better work than many of our doctors can! Keep on and all that. And, may the next time you go to da beach? May you have the perfect weather you deserve! - j |

Had to throw this in. Bob I realize that was a really horrible horrible day. And I'm so sorry you had to experience it.
But.....we live in Texas. Weather has the drastic changes almost every other day. We also live in what they call Tornado Alley. The pathway a storm front moves down from Oklahoma thru Texas and then on to the South. We had 3 tornado's moving in on us last night. I watched TV until after midnight to see if we would make it thru. Between weather, sleeping in the old recliner and a spoiled rotten dog that now thinks I should sleep there every night, my neuropathy is really bad. When I was a child, I remember a storm when we were all in the storm cellar at my Grandmother's. A 2 x 4 from the well cover was driven into the metal door of the storm cellar. I always hated that place. Spiders and nasties there. Bob, I hope you start feeling better soon. Summer will be here before we know it. Feel better. Billye

Those are "Aleve liquigel" days for me.
Bob, you are a very courageous man. You live with alot of stress and you are welcome to vent here all you want! I think I can speak for the others here...we all hurt in our own way. Having a network that understands, helps tremenously!
