I don't think PN affects the mind.
It is a neurological disease of the peripheral nerves. Far from the brain.
But the pain can affect the ability to think straight, or clearly.
Then there definitely are the different meds that do affect the thinking speed, and can cloud the mind.
('The Shadow, knows' ...mmwwahahaha.....!)
