Here in the UK they can be purchased from one of the Outdoor stores like Blacks or Millets. You can also buy them on-line.

As per the wise warning in the post above with anything like this you must obviously check the temperature and not just place them straight under your feet and thus risk burning, if they were too hot for any reason and your feet have lost temperature sensitivity.
