I took a sleep aid and woke up at 2 am with burning pains in my hands and legs. I had an uncontrollable urge to move my legs (I'm guessing this is RLS). Downed 800 mg Neurontin and an hour later I had some relief.

I also have pain in pelvis and ribs. I can't lie down on my stomach without feeling pain and pressure in those areas. I have the same feeling in my knees. Is this normal for P/N?

I can definitely relate to the knee pain. Sometimes the neuropathy really acts up in those areas. The pain above the knees and in the knees can be intense. I have pain in the rib areas too, but it's really more surface. I'm sorry you are having to deal with this. Those of us here can really understand, and you are not alone. It's hard to have hope under these circumstances, but this disease, the PN, can change, and you never know what direction it might take.
