I'm not giving any treats from china. Or food or toys they can eat. They are not getting any rawhides at all. The two younger ones used to, but I stopped when Millie got here, because her stomach is SO big, I wondered if it was really just pudge or if she had a rawhide lump going on.

.

Since stopping that one type of treat, she has not been sick one time, and even her coughing is almost stopped. She still seems to have some sort of allergy though, and sneezes and coughs a little - her eyes get a little watery too. I'll notice certain times of day after she goes out, or if the house needs dusting and swept. After cleaning up, she's much better.

They're a lot like people. Her fuzzy coat holds a lot of dust, pollen, whatever, and she's low to the ground. So she gets a good brushing at night to clean her off and that helps too.

Suev - when I took her, the rescue peole, the customers and the store employees (it was at a pet store) were all thanking me.

.

They'd been trying to find her a home for months.

I'll tell you though, I am lucky to have her. She's one of the best dogs ever. Never gets into anything, no trouble to care for. What a little sweetheart. She's all kisses and lovin'. I mean look at that face - what's not to love? Everyone who passed her over is missing out on someone special, that's how I see it.

...and some dogs are lucky to find special people.
