mrsD's Vacation 2011~

Just posting now, that we will be leaving some time soon next weekend or the following Monday (23rd, 24th, or 25th), for my summer break.

Very limited computer use, confined to free wifi places, in town.

I'll put details concerning my return on my profile in the visitor messages. It will be sometime in first week of Sept, probably before Labor Day.

If I get any nice shots of the wildlife etc, I'll post them in my profile. But mostly after I return. I have a new updated version of my Sony zoom, so I hope to get some interesting photos. It is 18x optical and with the internal, up to 30! I am still learning how to use tho.. which is a challenge for me. My new avatar is with the new camera. The little hummingbird is with the old version, for comparison.

We are taking our new kitty for the first time up there. Long trip and new surroundings. I hope she adjusts well... as every cat is different about this trip. I sure hope she does not cry for 6hrs, like one of our males did once!

Any questions, etc, now is the time to ask! ;)

We found Weezie the first week of January. Our old old kitties finally went to the Rainbow Bridge during the winter.
24 yr old Sheba in Oct 10 and Tippy (20) on Jan 3-11

Long car trips with cats can be hard on everyone. The old girls accepted it, but Weezie has never been, so I hope she just settles down and sleeps.
